Parents Communication

We pride ourselves on our active school community, be it on the sports field in the classroom and everywhere in between. It is vital to us that our Hobsonville parents and their children are well informed. We have varius communication channels to manage all our news and events including: the online events calendat, social media strems, emails and newsletters. Bi-Monthly Newsletter – (Whole School)

Every Second Friday of the month are emailed the latest news and current events from in and around our school community. If you have missed any newsletters they are available to download below. Quarterly Newsletter – (Yrs 0-3, 4-6, 7-8)

At the start of each term of the schiik year a newsletter is emailed to all parents of students within their learning block.
This informs parents of their child’s learning focus for that term. Plus it outlines any up and coming events, school trips or activities needing either parent helpers and/or activity payments.

Mid-week Updates

Current events and notices are also emailed weekly to all families on a Wednesday. These serve as friendly reminders for parents about all the happenings at school in the coming week. Letters Home

Please check your Child’s book bag daily for notices that may need your attention and/or your signature. If an EOTC (Education Outside The Classroom) experience or another activity is planned for your Child’s class, it is essential we have the notice signed and returned by the due date. Without it your child can not attend the excursion. If the notice is misplaced you can download the latest letter by accessing your online account here: KINDO

We have an electronic notice board located near the front office car park on Hobsonville Road. This highlights any current news or up-coming events,it is updated daily. Keep your eyes peeled for the latest news.
