Our auditorium is used for a host of exciting school events and activities including: school assemblies, fundraising events (i.e. school disco’s), school productions, live shows i.e. music and drama performances, sports training and much more. Our modern auditorium also keeps our students active with four adjustable basketball hoops, two portable netball hoops, as well as gymnastic circuits (trampolines, pommel, gym mats etc), three volleyball/badminton courts and indoor soccer. Zumba, dance, ballet and karate classes, run by outside providers, are held in the auditorium after school hours during the week and at the weekend. Contact the school office for more information.

The school pool is open to all our students (Yrs 0–8) in terms 1 and 4. Teachers also run lessons during class time throughout the summer terms and supervised lunchtime swimming is offered to all year levels.

At Hobsonville School, we aim to find every opportunity to help kids do what kids enjoy most, so as well as a sports field, we have a 400 metre tarmac bike track, complete with bridges and a pump track.

There are plenty of opportunities for fun and exercise here at Hobsonville School. We have two age-appropriate playgrounds: one for junior students (Yrs 0–3) and one for senior students (Yrs 4–8). Our students also enjoy three outdoor courts with multiple basketball hoop facilities, as well as four netball courts (with four netball/basketball reversible towers).
